Just dealin' with IRL things. Work stuff, personal issues, that sort of thing. Haven't really been able to draw anything I really like enough to post up on here either, though I'm getting a tablet monitor soon, so hopefully that will kick my butt back into gear?

Also going to be doing a username change soon. I just gotta buy myself a short Core membership.

Also go check out  ! I won't be participating sadly (I've found it's just hard for me to keep track of everything, which unfortunately kills my drive in these sorts of groups) but my buds worked really hard on it!

SO.

I finished with my last summer semester - and thus technical college - back at the start of August. Shortly after, I was contacted by a medical company that one of my professors is currently working at (She got in touch with me a month earlier and I gave her my resume), annnnd after a few interviews, I got a new job! My last day at my old job was last Friday, and I'll be starting at the new place tomorrow.

The hours are better (and way more stable compared to the old place's mess of a schedule), and a much better pay too. I get weekends off too! This -might- hurt my activity a little, but still, I'm just glad I'm starting to get on the right track. Here's hoping!

Just been really, really busy as of late.

I've been working hard at college, of course. I had finally found something I'm comfortable in (I was studying medical assisting, but I'm not a fan of needles), and I'm technically a graduate now...but I still have to finish my summer semester, which started just a few days ago. But it's something I'd be able to find a job in just about...anywhere, really. Better than retail that's for sure. :U My current job's been hectic, we've had lots of people quit, a few people join, and some of those few quit or left. Here's hoping I can get outta there soon.

My grandmother had also recently passed away, just last month. She had fallen in her house at the start of the year, and things just sorta got worse from there. Mainly issues with the assisted living facility she was staying at. Those past few months had been a big mess, and things are still a bit of a mess now that she's gone.

Art wise, I haven't had much time to really do a full-fledged piece, or the drive to do so either. I've been trying to do a sketch once a day, and I've been doing some colored pieces too, but nothing that I've really felt the need to upload...yet. Super-Liet and Necr0wmancer and I have been working on a private roleplay that we'll hopefully get started on soon, so maybe that'll give me the drive to do some more artwork again.
